Snowdon

Today we went to Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales (1085m or 3560ft). We cheated somewhat and took the Snowdon Mountain Railway up but we did walk down. The train uses a rack railway to help it up the steep slopes and the ride up takes 45 minutes. The walk down took us 3 hours.
